Interests: Barbara's down time is spent with family and friends. She loves to cook and is always up for a trip to the beach or a movie and time with her grandson has high priority.

Barbara has lived and worked in the Stockton area since 1980.You may know her from Angelinas or maybe Rexel (the old Valley Electric). Her four grown children attended public school, Presentation and St. Marys High School and still work and live the area. Her parents were both Real Estate Brokers in Sacramento, and planted the Real Estate bug very early on. " My parents would love to have seen this market. I think this is a very exciting time to be in Real Estate, especially for first time buyers. I'm really looking forward to the changing market and helping as many people as I can. There's nothing better than owning your own home."

 

Distressed? Yes.  Destroyed? No!

Barbara would never be caught bragging about herself so I'm writing her bio for her.

Barbara is our own resident Martha Stewart.  She is super crafty and does cake decorating and do-it-yourself projects.  She is a true specialist when it comes to distressed properties.  Her work with listing foreclosure properties has been an advanced education in restoration, restoral and imagination. She tends to get what we have come to call the "whopper-doozies"!!

"Distressed" doesn't even begin to describe these homes.  But Barb takes it all in stride and promptly gets them cleaned, repaired, refreshed and ready for sale.  Her imagination will help sellers with adding the special touches and personality that will get their home noticed. And buyers can count on her to see the posibilities in a home. She can see potential like nobody can! Her favorite spots in town are Home Depot and Lowe's!

Being a Realtor(r) is truly a rewarding career for Barb.  She has a heart of gold and feels that everyone deserves a home.  Having experienced living in foster care and even being homeless, Barb has made it her mission to help others to get happily involved in home ownership.  She gets up to date training in first time buyer programs and works closely with lenders so that she can overcome obstacles with options for her clients and get them HOME.

Distressed properties are the norm right now, but while they are distressed, Barb knows they are not destroyed, and she loves them back to life to make each house someone's home.
