Stockton/Brookside Branch of Prudential California Realty

Volunteer at St. Mary’s Interfaith Community Services

(STOCKTON, California) The Stockton/Brookside Branch of Prudential California Realty volunteered to prepare and serve meals to underprivileged families and individuals on Friday December 9, 2011. Prudential REALTORS® and friends came together as well as Team Leader, Glenn Race and a representative from Wells Fargo Bank, Rhonda Toy worked for 4 hours to help out St. Mary’s and their very important work in the community.

The Stockton/Brookside Prudential office brought in about 25 volunteers in total and served over 475 people during lunch time alone (9am to 1pm). In addition to helping set-up, serve and clean-up after the meal, the group donated several large boxes of clothing, food and personal care items.

St Mary’s served 391,091 meals in the 2010 calendar year. The center also provides social services, clothing, and items for personal hygiene for the community’s homeless and working poor. In addition, medical and dental services are made accessible.

“Our ability to provide this care is made possible through the generosity of our community. It is because of their financial support, their gift of time through volunteerism and their donation of in-kind supplies and materials that we are able to provide hope and dignity to the many men, women and children that visit our campus each day.” ~Fr. Alan McCoy O.F.M.

Relay for Life

Our Reason to Relay

We are making a difference by teaming up to participate in the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life. Saving lives from cancer starts one team, one participant, and one dollar at a time.

At the Relay For Life event, our team will camp out overnight and take turns walking around the track to raise money and awareness to help the American Cancer Society create a world with less cancer and more birthdays.

By joining or donating to our team, you will be a part of a life-changing event that gives everyone in the community a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against a disease that takes too much.

Please support our efforts to fight cancer by joining our team or making a donation. The impact we can make together is much greater than what any of us could do alone!

Thank you for your support!
